Tourists holding a U.S. tourist visa must bring their valid U.S. visa and a certified EVUS English printout (certification must be completed 7 working days before flight departure) to enter Saipan. If your US visa is in your old (expired) passport, you must bring your old passport with you when entering the country.

If a Hong Kong SAR passport holder’s previous U.S. tourist visa has expired, there is no need to apply for a visa again or carry the expired U.S. visa when entering Saipan.

Tourists who have been denied a visa to the United States cannot use the visa-free entry policy and must obtain a U.S. visa before entering the country.

If you have held a U.S. work visa and it expired, it is recommended to apply for a U.S. visa to enter the country.

Passengers who have been to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Sudan, Libya, Yemen, North Korea and other countries must hold a US visa to enter Saipan.

Many tourists choose to travel by car when traveling to Saipan. Generally, the cost of renting a car is about USD100-120/day. If you don’t have an international driver’s license, you can also choose to travel by chartered car. The cost is similar to renting a car and traveling by car. There are also many Chinese drivers in the local area, so you don’t have to worry about the language barrier.

The weather in Saipan is stable, like summer all year round, and there are few typhoons or storms. Even in the rainy season, there are mostly just showers and it passes in a flash. There is no need to worry about the rain affecting the entire journey.
